Product Definition
What belongs in this category?
Trading and collectible cards are designed as sets for collecting, displaying, exchanging or structured gameplay. They usually combine unique artwork with names, statistics, numbering or short descriptions and may require stronger opacity, premium finishes and controlled set collation.
Standard production framework
| Common size | 63 x 88 mm for sleeve-compatible collectible cards |
|---|---|
| Set structure | Fixed card set with approved quantities and collation |
| Stock | Black core or premium coated stock by handling target |
| Finish | Matte, gloss, foil, spot UV and selected edge treatments |
| Packaging | Tuck box, rigid box or reviewed booster format |
| MOQ | Bulk projects generally quoted from 1,000 sets |
Fixed sets first, special packing by review.
Standard quotes cover clearly defined fixed card sets. Randomized rarity distribution, seeded booster packs, serialization and anti-weighing packaging require additional engineering and production review before they are offered.
Final specifications, pricing, sample fees, shipping and payment instructions are confirmed in the offline PI after artwork and production review.

Configuration
Four decisions before quotation.
These are configuration choices inside the product family, not separate product categories.
Card database
Use a numbered artwork list that maps every image to its quantity and position.
Opacity
Black-core stock helps reduce show-through where hidden information matters.
Special effects
Keep foil and spot-effect artwork on separate vector layers for production review.
Set control
Fixed sets are checked against the approved card list before packing.
Production Route
From specification to finished sets.
The same controlled route applies across bulk custom card production, with proofing and packing adjusted to the project.
Buyer Questions
Common questions before a PI.
Send artwork or a simple specification list if your project falls outside these standard options.
Can you print individual artwork on every card?
Yes. Each unique card should be named or numbered consistently in the production file set.
Do you offer randomized booster packs?
Randomized collation and booster packaging are not assumed. They are quoted only after the rarity map and packing method are reviewed.
Which material is best for collectible cards?
Black-core or premium coated paper is commonly selected for opacity, stiffness and surface consistency.
Can cards include foil or spot UV?
Yes, subject to artwork line weight, registration tolerance and a separate finishing quotation.
