Define the collection
Playable deck, art set or collector edition?
Choose the reason someone will keep your cards. Then specify what every buyer receives and where special finishes add value.
| Decision | Playable starter | Fixed art collection | Collector presentation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main priority | Readable rules text, consistent backs and comfortable handling. | Artwork, sequence and a coherent visual identity. | The opening experience and protection of the complete set. |
| Contents | A defined playable list, including repeated cards. | A specified selection of art cards or a complete series. | A defined card set with optional guide, divider or insert. |
| Finish brief | Keep effect areas away from important text and icons. | Compare the base finish with selected accents. | Specify card and box treatments separately. |
| Confirm first | Card IDs, copy counts, common backs and sleeve fit. | Printed series IDs versus unique variable serial numbers. | Contents, insert clearances and the packed product size. |
Fixed sets contain an agreed list of cards. Random boosters, rarity ratios, variable serial numbers and specialized sealed packs need a separate feasibility quote. Metallic appearances in reference images are illustrative, not finish proofs.

Project questions
Before you order.
Practical answers on pricing, files, finishes and packing.
Ask a questionWhat affects trading card printing costs?
Quantity, cards per set, stock, size, artwork variants, selected finishes and packing all affect the quote. Identify which cards receive each treatment. Request the base edition and optional special-finish edition separately so the price difference is clear.
Can you print original TCG or AI-assisted artwork?
Yes, original or properly licensed artwork can be reviewed. Supply a fixed card list, final front/back files and finish requirements. AI-assisted images should be checked at print size for small text, fine detail and consistency before proof approval.
Are foil, holographic effects and spot UV the same?
No. Metallic foil, holographic effects and clear spot UV create different appearances. Mark the intended effect area and provide a reference. Compatibility, registration, stock and sample requirements are reviewed together before the specification is confirmed.
Does a fixed-set quote include randomized booster packs?
No. Random collation, rarity ratios, variable serial numbers and specialized sealed packaging require a separate feasibility review. A quote for identical complete sets is not a booster-pack quote.
How do I confirm sleeves and box fit?
Provide the target card dimensions and intended sleeves. Check the finished card and full stack in a sample box; a box sized for an unsleeved deck may not fit sleeved cards. A digital proof cannot confirm this physical fit.
